Movieweb.com is reporting that Robbie Amell who has appeared as Firestar on The Flash television series reportedly wants to take on the role of the Red Ranger in the Mighty Morphin Power Ranger reboot set to release in 2016. Amell, like many his age, grew up watching the Power Rangers and reportedly threw his name out there to play the Red Ranger. Hmmm… time will tell how this plays out, but you gotta love when a new up and coming star throws some love for an old school martial arts based TV show.
