The late Lau Kar Leung is a legend in the martial arts movie world. Lau Sifu trained, choreographed , and directed some of the most skilled and famous screen fighters such as Gordon Liu, Alexander Fu Sheng, Ti Lung, Wang Lung Wei, just to name a few. He was a master of Hung Gar Kung Fu as his father Lau Cham was a direct student of Lam Sai Wing who was a student of the immortal Wong Fei Hung. Lau Sifu’s power, speed, and knowledge comes across well onscreen whenever he performs. He was an old school pioneer and a man who is spoken about with respect and reverence.
